I'm one of those "x%vxdej Northerners" that has made the move to North Carolina in search of warmer weather. I grew up in western New York, where there are two seasons: winter and construction. And neither is pleasant.

I went to Oswego State University, on the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario (which Kodak has so thoughtfully polluted over the years). Oswego is known for its communications department that has produced the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Al Roker, Steve Levy and Linda Cohn from ESPN, as well as its perennial powerhouse Division 3 hockey team. I studied Business and was a fierce broomball player - not exactly the best that the University has produced, but at least I had fun doing it.

Growing up in western New York, your main love every fall is the Buffalo Bills, I am a devoted fan of the Bills, and of football in general. You'll always know where my TV is tuned every Saturday and Sunday.

I am married to a fellow Oswego alum, Danielle, whom I love dearly. We have a son and a daughter. We met in the romantic setting of a college bar - one of the really nice ones where your shoes stick to the floor and you're drinking out of the same plastic cups that they used the night before. Now that's romantic with a capital "R."
